Fink - London 6th Feb

Brighton based singer/songwriter Fin Greenall a.k.a Fink will be making a rare appearance at Notting Hill Arts Club this Sunday. He will featuring as second headliner to 10 piece orchestra Milk White White Teeth from Leeds. Fink’s music is a mix of blues, folk and dub, and he has a real skill of incorporating interesting rhythms into his playing style. His career began in electronic music but he soon realised that his real talent lay in songwriting and he released his debut album Biscuits For Breakfast in 2006 to wide critical acclaim. The performance promises to be a stripped down and intimate offering from this extremely talented musician.

WAH Nails

WAH Nails is the hippest nail salon in the capital. Where 'it' girls and the fashion crowd flock to get their nails decorated. WAH are responsible for the famous cult following of the leopard print finish inspired by Louis Vuitton animal print patterns.

Not only does WAH promise to 'translate fashion trends into fingertip art', but having a Wah-manicure is the most delightful experience; choose the pattern and add your own sprinkles.

I opted for the fluffy cloud nails, a perfect match to my day dreamy personality. A must-must-have for festivals this summer!

Noah and the Whale are set to return with the first single from their new album on February 28th. L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N taken from the band's third album Last Night On Earth will be released on March 7th.

The indie folk band recently listed Tom Petty as one of their influences in recording the upcoming album and this is very evident in L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. Check out the new video- L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N

The happy uplifting tune is a welcome change from the bands previous album, making it aptly suited for the run up to summer.

Noah and the Whale recently announced UK dates to bookend the new albums release. For information on upcoming shows visit the bands Myspace.

Chase and status - Blind Faith (feat Liam Bailey)

Release Date: 23rd January

The latest realease from the south london duo and their highly anticipated second album No More Idols. Soul singer Liam Bailey lends his vocals this track with sample vocals from Loleatta Holloway’s Love Sensation also sampled on Black Box’s Ride on Time. Standard Chase and Status, this tune is huge and is certain to feature heavily this summer. This track is a big nod to the late 80s rave scene brilliantly depicted in their nostalgic documentary-style video (check the full directors cut below). Certain to get ex-ravers feeling a little nostaligic and those who werent around, slightly envious.
